  1. I have made some back-up copies of my DVD´s using DVD shrink and burned with the software that came with my HP 300e (3rd party software does not work with this DVD writter).
I have experienced that those DVD+R (usually Fuji, but tried other media too) freezes for some seconds several times while playing in the DVD Daewoo 3000N, but run without problems in the computer.
I have ridden in the forums that the stickers/covers could cause these problems due to a laser distance reduction and recommend to use a pen to write the movie title in the disks. I did this in the latest DVD I copied, but still have the same problem.
I am very frustated and thinking in changing the Daewoo DVD for other one.
Anyone has experienced the same problem? Anyone could recommend a solution?
Thanks a lot ! and congratulations for this website, this is like a DVDR University !!!

  2. Sounds much like a player/media compatibility issue. Try a different brand media (or two). Stick with quality brands until you have isolated the cause of the problem. See the media forum for plenty of brand reccomendations.
