Fixing Corrupt DV

Does anybody know of any tool or software that will fix corrupt digital video. I have a tape that is corrupt in parts. I get random artifacting and occasional juddering frames. I have captured the tape to my PC and I am looking to see if there is anything that I can use to fix the problems. I would imagine it would be possible to write something to do this taking the frame before and the frame after and interpolating between them in the squares that are corrupt.

Any clues anybody please

I don't know of anything in even the professional sphere that does this. I think that the best cure is to edit out the corrupt frames and use whats left.
