Hello all i was gonna buy a hauppage wintv go pci card to watch tv on my comp and capture from vhs,i was wondering if it works with virtualdub because i want to encode straight to divx instead of having uncompressed video.

here's my system:534mhz intel celeron,32megs sdram,8.01gb hdd,32mb geforce2mx200 pci,would i drop alot of frames?

You need more RAM and more HD
Don't expect realtime xvid/divx with your CPU. Maybe half D1 (352 x 576/480) with PicVideo @18 at best. -
But i would be able to encode straight to divx for my dbz vhs tapes and movies?
