I tried burning a movie onto a VCD using Nero and playing it on my standalone Panasonic DVD player but there are green lines covering half of the screen. I know it works because I have played a CDR with music videos on it (same brand CDRs too) and when I watched the video on my PC it worked fine. Does making a slower copy actually help even if it works on your PC (i used nero at 12x) Any help would be appreciated.
Nero gives me this error when I add the mpeg:
-invalid video stream: 23.976 frames/second, 640x256 pixels
I think the problem is that the resolution is not one that will work properly with VCDs so I am changing it to 352x240 but I don't know if that will fix my problem. Any suggestions?

I burned VCD using Nero 5.5 with good results on the Panasonic. I think that you're right with the problem being the Framerate and the Aspect ratio being the problem.
