    I've made a few VCD over the last few days & I just noticed that on the original copy of one of my DVD the picture shakes for a few seconds. It may have been there when it was purchased but I never noticed it.

    no it can not be damage by ripping becuase a DVD Disc is a read only...it can be damage if u did a straight conversion with the dvd disc becuase it can overheat and crack becuase this happened to me once..maybe u have a smuge on the disc try to clean it
