  1. Hey

I have searched and found some guides but the software is way to buggy...

I got 3 SVCD files all NSTC with the same audio.

What would be the best way the apply these 3 SVCD,s To one DVD?
The just have a really simpile menu like.
    1. Roger rabbit
    2. Peter pan
    3. Hot babes on heat volume 3.

Is there a way to do this, i have nero 6 [all]

Big thnx If you can help/.

  4. I had a play around with it but it decides to crash every 6.2 seconds.

I am running a very stable set up with plenty of RAM and my personal Rips are from my origanals and are coded very well indeed.

I see no reason to code to a one for one DVD film it makes no sense for me, i want to keep my origanals in good condition and the kids are always messing and gunking them up at least this way the origanal will stay in god shape, its just that i can noit afford to spend this much money for one to one copys of a DVD.

I need something to make at least 2 SVCD films fit on One DVD then its worth my wile and stops the kids using "monstors inc" as a frizbie which was recently the case but it servived.

I have not been able to find any software stable enuf out there yet.

Is there no way to do it with Nero 6?

    You could try the following:
Demux the files, then use BeSweet to resample the audio to 48KHz (DVD spec),reMux the audio + video files, then use DVDPatcher to "change" the resolution to 352x480 (SVCD is 480x480).
Try a test burn with a DVD-RW,to see if your DVD player can handle the 'patched' file. This method worked for me....

  6. Na i aint got a re writeabile disk.
Maybe a little to much work considering how much i have put in allready.
    Thanks anyway m8.

You would have thoght buy now i reliabile decent stable programe would be out there waiting for me to add a simpile menu and apply some SVCD files to it.

    But no.

Looks like all i have now is the option to burn DVD and make huge data backups.

I mean if i had just paid for that SVCD2DVD software it would have been useless wouldent it?

Why the ehck does it crash on me, even if it did not crash i still wouldent pay for it, well thats my option i suppose, there must be a way to do it with nero..

Which version did you try ?
Is £5 to much to pay
I use this all the time and have NO problems at all.
I guess you could convert the files to mpeg2 with tempeg and then use another authoring program to add menus and the outputed files together.
Tried the guides on the left ??

EMO: If you can't be bothered to read a few guides, cough up a few $$$ for an application that does exactly what you want, or even a DVDRW, why ask for help? I mean come on. What you want to do is disgustingly easy. I bet you don't even have an Authoring application (required and NERO doesn't count).

Besides, what's the point? Take your original DVD's and work from those.

  10. I think you want to try SVCD2DVDMPG not SVCD2DVD i think they are 2 different apps, the SVCD2DVDMPG is free i think. I have used it loads of times to fit 3SVCD onto one DVD and 3VCD onto one DVD no problem.

Same app just svcd2dvd is a upgraded version with a few more bells and whistles as well as it authors the video_ts and Audio_ts folders and all your files are ready to burn.
