  1. All,

I hahve ripped my dvd to my hard drive by selecting all the files. They are now in my target folder.

The size is 6.9gb and i need it to fit onto a dvd-r. As such want to use Instant Copy to take out some of the extras etc.

When i get to the screen where you can see the video content i.e. if you click the Video Tracks folder you can see the indivisual titles. For some reason al of the titles are greyed out. They should be black and give me the option to uncheck them but they dont and i cant figure out why.

    Does anybody have any ideas?

I have never used that feature of Instant Copy, I use Ifoedit to remove the unwanted stuff and then shrink the movie using Instant Copy.

you can modify the registry to allow the title removal feature, or get hold of a copy of Instant Copy Hidden Settings Editor which will do it for you. Your standalone will determine whether you can use this unsupported feature so it's best you try with a DVD-RW 1st

I have listed a few hints on using IC HERE

be careful removing stuff with Ifoedit as one simple mistake and IC will not accept the DVD but it can be done
