Hi all,
How many times (realistically) can RW disks be erased and written to?
Thanks!

Typically, a 1000 times.
However, you're more likely to find that DVD RW discs will become unusable a lot quicker as a result of scrathes, marks physical damages, etc. before you even reach the 1000 mark. -
I have a few Memorex DVD+RWs that have been overwritten at least 100 times and they are doing fine.

Some people: 4 times others 100....they take along time to format.
Hey, dvdram is rated 100,000 times & come in a cart to protect it & I believe it ,some I use have hundreds & hundreds of writes. -
Wow! I had no idea. That's great, because I can do my testing and experimentation on the RW's, burn final disks to -R media after trial and error.
Thanks you!
