  1. Hi

I recently ripped "The Skulls" DVD which the case says is
    1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen,

in DVD2AVI the aspect ratio is 16:9,
    FILM 95%, Progressive,
when i came to encode this in TMPGEnc i am having troubles with which setting to choose in the advanced tab, Im guessing i choose

Non-Interlace for the video source type,
    16:9 Source aspect ratio,
and full screen keep aspect ratio 2,

Are these correct, the output some how dosnt look right, could sum1 please let me know what im doin wrong, and suggest changes,
I know there have been many topics on this in the past, but i could find any that made sence to me..sorry

    Thanks

  2. I would use "full screen keep aspect ratio".

In what does it not look right. Do not use TmpGencs preview window, nor WMP to check the output. Use a proper software DVD player like PowerDvd or WinDvd to test.
