    can some1 help
    i didnt no were 2 post this so i posted it here.
    i got a problem with my video in meda player. its plays 2 sec then the video stops but the audio still gos on perfect.

    is it codec problem?
    i got GSpot and that saids the codec are in installed.

    my codec are

    video: 4CC: DX50/DIVX NAME: DivX 5.0

    audio: NAME: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3

    You do relize that this is the Linux form of dvdhelp? Try downloading the free videoplayer from divx and see if you have the same problem. I havn't used any windows player for more than 3yr(Once got a virus thru a online video) unless I was installing it for someone.
