I just blasted through 200 of them, with only 6 coasters, about 4 of them caused from lint on the laser lens. Got mine from RIMA (Optodisc 4x inkjet DVD-R)

How much did they cost you? Also will the 4x Disc's work in 1x and 2x Bunrer, just burning at the ol 1x/2x speeds?

The reason I'm asking is I like reliable optical media and I'm trying to figure out if OptoDisc DVD-R's are still worth the risk with all the negative reviews they've been getting lately.

I'd like to get about 10 Disc's at once, but I'm unsure of the best price and where to buy them, also are these silver or gold sided discs?

If you say they're still good, does this mean that it's jsut the + formats (DVD+R/+RW) that are getting all the negative reviews or are the - formats (DVD-R/-RW-RAM) also getting bad press?

I like the OptoDisc DVD-RAM's I've got, I'm going to try the DVD-R's I bought awhile back, but I want to mak sure that they won't be duds when I go to order more.

Lordsmurf, what type of DVD Printer do you use? I'm still trying to find one that won't break the bank, which is why I've yet to burn a Disc on my ink-jet printab;le DVD-R's, I have them, I'm just trying to find a way to print first, burn second without spending $400 on a DVD/CD Inkjet Printer.

Finally what lens cleaner do you use? I have a Soctch/3m Dry Lens clewaner but I don't trust it very much it seems cheap and annoying at the same time.

    2x in Pioneer 103

Don't have a "cleaner" ... use IPA and Qtip

    Don't use a printer, just use white-tops

No substancial problems with OptoDisc -R here ...

Reviews on this site are not always worth anything, some people just new, dumb, bad luck, you name it .. only review that matters is yours
