    I can not locate the firmware update for my HP 300n. If anyone can help me out please do. I need this update!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Start-All programs-HP DVD WRITER-HP MY DRIVE
    that will tell you what do do next! The newest firmware update is 3.0 and I just checked before replying to your thread. Hope this helps!
