TMPG problem convert pal avi

Hi
I have captured pal avi. This was captured by a Canopus advc-50 using premier.
I've come to convert to Mpeg 2 using TMPG. The resulting mpeg seem to have what looks like interlace problems.
I used this method before to convert NTSC laserdisc with no problem.
I have looked through the guides but can't seem to find the answer there. What am I doing wrong?

DV avi's are interlaced bottom field first. So make sure you have this set correctly in TmpGenc. If it still looks bad, remember it will show interlace issues when viewed on your PC unless you use a proper software DVD player like PowerDvd. It will still look OK on your TV.
