I'm looking for a 50-pack spindle of dual layer DVD-R discs and for whatever reason, Google is being a colossal dick:
I found this shit on ebay but would rather have DVD-R's and possibly some Taiyo Yuden's if the price is right.

google might be more useful if you click the shopping link on the left side.
i usually go with newegg.com or meritline.com--

First of all, you might stop blaming Google for a malformed query. The dash in front of -dvd+r is just wrong. And what's the deal with putting "dvd-r" in quotes and not quoting -dvd+r? Geez. Simply looking for: taiyo yuden dvd-r dvd+r
would have been fine.
Your subject says you want DVD-R DL discs. Your malformed Google search says something completely different. So what the hell do you want?
Single or double layer discs?
+R or -R?
If you want DVD-R DL then you need to understand that they cost a LOT more than DVD+R DL discs do. With DVD-R DL, you can either buy Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden (TY DVD-R DL discs are hard to find - it's easier to find Verbatim). With DVD+R DL discs, the ONLY ones you should buy are those made by Verbatim (TY does not make these). With single layer DVDs, whether +R or -R, you can buy either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (anything but their Life series is good). Reputable online sellers include rima.com and supermediastore.com.
