Why can't I use scissors in MS7?

Hi,

I have been going fine cutting, adding and doing all that a newby editor does but I have hit a snag.

I have just tried to use the scissors to cut another clip and instaed of the little scissors, I get the round no-no sign.

It shows the scissors on the corresponding audio clip but not on the 1 frame view clip.

I guess I have locked or turned something off, but for the life of me can't see what.

Any idea what I need to turn on/off?Help!!!

I have tried the clip locked and unlocked, but no go.

Ah haa..

After hours of trying virtually everything I finally hit the grouped option on one of the pull dopwn menus and whammo.. I was able to use the scissors.

Somehow I must have hit that option B4.

Thanks.. Sure as eggs I'll be back with more tho...
