  1. The sound was ok before I burned the vcd, but when It was done, it was out of synch. This has only happened once, but I don't want to risk any more CDs. Does anyone know why this might have happened?

    Good question, Baldrick.
Jacob, you need use TMPGenc software to encode your .avi files to VCD. I'm happy with it.
On the left side, column red, click on "Tools" and look it for and dowload it.
On the link http://www.vcdhelp.com/convert.htm you'll be instructions.
    Good luck!

  5. Here's one. Frame-served(avisynth) to cut commercials from flaskmpeg to tmpgenc using the ntsd svcd spec. Checked each clip for audio and it's good. Cut/Merge all the clips together and audio is good. Burn merged clips with nero 5.5 and it's out of sync. What's up with that?? I checked the compatability in Nero and it's set to: mpeg2/standard and entryvcd/standard. Is this the correct setting??

I source file is 43min (800meg+ size file). I using 80min cdr with nero overburn setting to 82min.

I made a svcd with mpeg2/standard and enterysvd setting, but haven't setted it yet.

Please give me an insight to what's happening. Thanks in advance!

I've had problems with using Nero and the mixed / hybrid templates on my Pioneer. It seems that with the variable bitrate video stream, when I scan'd ffwd it lost the stream when you commenced playing again. The only way it kept it is if you let it play uniterrupted all the way through. Also, this came into play on discs that I burned quicker than 2x. All above apllied to Sefy's SxVCD or SeVCD discs in Nero 5.5

  8. Someone posted that tmpgenc's svcd is not compliant?? Is that true??

I have lsx3, cce 2.5, and bbmpeg. Which is that best to encode for nero 5.5 to burn??
