  1. Hey I just got a Sony DRU-510a that came with the latest firmware 1.0d

I tried to burn a 4.37 GB ISO disc using nero 6...set the speed at 4x but it took roughly 30 minutes to burn the dvd instead of 15 minutes which is what 4x should take...

    I'm using Ritek go3 4x dvd-r discs

    Any ideas??

  2. I'm not a Ritek user But I think Ritek G03's are 2X. For burning at 4X you need Ritek G04 media.

  4. The only thing I can suggest is to check the Primary and Secondary IDE controller settings in your operating system's Device Manager. It should be set to DMA. Mine is set to "Ulta DMA Mode 2" in Windows XP.
