    I stated to notice synch problems capture with analoge source. I even tried scenalyzer live this seemed to fix the synch problems put injected other defects to video and also quality did not seem good compared to capture with studio 8. I would appreciate any sugestions.

    I had horrendous sync issues when capturing analogue footage with Studio.
    I'm lead to belive it's been fixed by a patch but I never bothered trying; the problems I had, despite having a pretty good VHS tape, were awful.
    I switched back to Virtualdub and everythings perfect although one tip if you decide to try Vdub; uncheck the options box 'lock audio to video'.
