DO I NEED TO RIP THE GAME TO THE HD AND THEN BURN IT ?
THE GAMES HAVE PROTECTION?

DVD DECRYPTER in ISO-mode. First ISO-read to save the ISO-file to your HD. Then ISO-write, select the saved ISO-file and write / burn. PS2 games have no protection.
But you need a modchip or a slidecard to play the backups. -
I HAVE A MODECHIP 10X .....AND ANOTHER THING..... IS THERE A PS2 GAME LARGER THEN 4.7 G?

I use Nero to do straight copies.
Haven't found a game bigger than 4.7Gb yet.

yes there is a ps2 game bigger than 4.7gb.. xenosaga & MGS2 come to mind. i'm sure there are some others too.
