Hi, this is probably a dumb question, but I'm a little unfamiliar with Macs...please bear with me!A friend just gave me their old Mac OS 9 and I wanted to get ilife on it. (The mac doesn't have any versions of imovie, which is specifically what I wanted.) I can't find mac OS 9 mentioned anywhere with ilife, only Mac OS X. CAN I get the ilife for a Mac OS 9? Thank you!

No iLife for OS9, as OS9 is dead...
But there should be old versions of iTunes and iMovie running on OS9 (not sure whether Apple still distributes them somewhere). -
what kind of machine exactly is it? will it run OSX at all?!?!
like major said, itunes is basically the only thing left for OS9 these days
As you are finding out, OS9 is old news.
if it can run osx at all it would be worth putting it on there. -
As far as I know, it doesn't run OSX. I found an old imovie version on ebay, 1.2.1, and I was thinking I'd try that on it. tgpo, that makes me feel a little better
Thanks guys!
