    1. Make sure your files are all named correctly.
    Example:
    If your files are named:
    Doctor.Who.S011E04.avi
    Doctor.Who.S011E05.avi
    Doctor.Who.S11E2.avi

Then epsiode two, because it is missing the "0" will not be order
when mastered to VIDEO_TS. this also goes for very long named files:

    Doctor.Who.S011E04.TheDudemiester.Xvid.AAC.avi

would benefit to be shortened to just:
    Doctor.Who.S011E04.avi

otherwise truncation in VH could happen causing the files to be put out wack.

A good Program to fast rename files is R-Name, whcih lets you replace,
add, or shorten file names and will even drill into folders and sub-folders
    to do so.

    2. If the files are all named correctly, then consider when dragging and
dropping them into VH's main window, dragging and dropping
one at a time, so that episode 1 is at the top, and then d&d episode #2,
etc., etc. until they are dragged and dropped in the correct order.

That way you will insure whatever is causing the issue, at least they were
added to the main window, by you, in the correct order.
