So, here I am about to take the monumental step from VCR land to that of dvd recorders and could really do with some views.
I have looked at the Sony RDR GX3 / GX7 and Panasonic DMR E50
Now, between the 2 Sony models am I right in saying that the only difference is that that GX7 has DV (in) ? In this case, does the GX3 make more sense given that its £ 150 cheaper and I don't do that many home movies. I guess I can still connect the video camera using 'normal' connections.
Ok so Sony vs Panasonic, I undertsand that Sony supports DVD- and DVD+ formats, Panasonic only DVD-. I have a DVD+R/RW on my Dell computer and would want to be able to play discs written on this on the dvd recorder, and vice versa. Therefore is Sony the best option
