  1. i have some DVD+RW's i have recorded onto with my Philips DVD Recorder, i was wondering how do i choose 'parts' (episodes of different cartoons some, not all from the same dvd+rw) and burn them to one dvd-r?

  2. I have never done this but I think this will work
First rip all the dvd+rw's that you want to extract episodes from
to your hard drive with dvddecryptor in file mode.
Next how ever many dvd+rw's you have ripped to your hard drive
open that many instances of dvdshrink and in each instance open the
    files to each dvd+rw
Then in one of the instances of dvdshrink select reauthor mode
and another window of dvdsrink will open then you can go back to each
instance of dvdshrink and select the episodes you want and drag them to
the reauthor window and when you get all the episodes you want
select back up and then burn the resulting output to your dvd-r
Like I said I have never done this and Im not even sure if it will work
maybe someone else can verify or shed some more light on this
but its worth a try since all the tools are free.
Also use an RW if you dont want to take the chance of wasting a disk.

    Good Luck

  4. I just realized I had CSI season 2-6 disk set still on my hard drive so I decided to give this method a go and it worked like a charm. One nice thing about this method is that if you ar using it to author a dvd from TV captures is that you can select the start and stop frames of each title making it easy to remove the comercials. Also there is no need to open multiple instances of dvdshrink for each dvd-rw. Just open one intance of dvdshrink and one reauthor window and when you are done with editing the first dvd-rw just hit open files in the original dvdshrink window and open your second dvd-rw and keep repeating the process till you have a complete dvdr
Just make sure you use the same reauthor window through out the whole process
