I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to use the newer ATI TV Wonder Pro card? I have an older Asus AGP V3800UD card (TNT2 with phillips based video capture) and have been having nothing but problems trying to get this card to capture properly in windows XP, and I was thinking of replacing it with the newer TV Wonder, in combination with a low priced video card (an agp tnt2) I don't play games, don't need 3D, and I'm broke)

I guess what I'm wondering is, does this card work as well as the capture on the All In Wonder cards, that everyone seems to rave about?

Will this card work ok on my system? A-bit NF7S board, 1 gig Dual DDR ram, AMD 2500+ Barton CPU. (Nforce 2 chipset)

The asus card I have now works great in Me, and 98, but is terrible for capturing in XP or 2000. Drops frames, no ASV2 codec, most software crashes in capture mode, etc...it's pretty much useless. I'm sick of having two OS's on the computer, and the file limitaitons of Fat32.

    Any suggestions or comments?

Well I guess I jumped the gun...I'm one of these people who do not have alot of time to 'fiddle' with the computer to get it working. I'm using ieVCR and it appears to be working fine...no dropped frames yet.

I am still curious if anyone has that new ATI card, if it produces the same type of results as the all in wonder, as I will eventually need to replace the older card. I'm tired of having to buy new capture cards every two years so a stand alone may get a little more mileage for the money.
