Whatever happened with DVD writers like the Pioneer DVR-S201 for authoring use only? They were and still are expensive ($4,000.00).
I'm sure they were for professional use but what could they do that the general DVD writers can't? (except for writing on authoring media). I've also noticed that the write speed hasn't changed either. I don't expect a responce but I thought I just throw it out there.
