  1. I want to convert/burn some older SVCDs and VCDs to DVD. Usually I use TmpegEnc for the conversion, but with the SVCD files I only get errors. It says : "InterConnect=0" and then "File ... can not open or unsupported".

I've tried the guide from this link : http://ness888.users.btopenworld.com/fromvcd2dvd.htm but I keep getting the errors, and the vcdgear programme doesn't seem to work well.

Anyone with experience who could tell me what to do ?

    Thanks.

If your DVD player can play SVCD on DVD you don't have to convert.
    Try DVD-lab: http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/svcd.html

  3. Thanks !

My DVD players can play SVCDs and VCDs. That's not the point. I just WANT to convert the SVCDs to DVDs - especially because I'd like to give them away to friends who can't play SVCDs.

Can anyone else recommend a good programme to do that conversion ?

TMPGEnc problems? File not supported? See the link below.
