I am having problems getting a DVD onto a VCD> Evrytime I run it thru TMPGEnc, I set it to unfder 800 megs oin the slide rule, yet it still comes out to be over 900 megs. What am I doing wrong? I followed the guide on this site word-for-word.

Make sure that you've selected Mpeg1 Video CD (non-standard) in the system tab. There was a bug in some versions of TMPGEnc that would always encode VCD's at the standard 1150 Kb/s bitrate no matter the setting. I'm not sure which version, 2.59 or 2.510 maybe? Try and get a new version.
