    not tell you how to convert svcd into a dvd compliant mpeg like it says it will?

    this shows me how to convert my vcd to dvd but i need to know how to convert my svcd to dvd.

    You might look in the guides for the SVCD2DVD program. Seems to be popular around here.

    ok i just downloaded the program from the website but the interface looks nothing like the guides

    i dont know what to do now....any help?

    Load your svcd mpegs into tmpge and encode them to mpeg2 48khz(there's a shorter way, but stay basic for now). after they are encoded, load it in dvd author and do your thing there, you can also burn with dvd author as well.
