I have been trying to back up my copy of Jim Carrey's The Grinch and the Boris Karloss animated version of the Grinch - both onto one DVD-R - using TMPEnc DVD Author.
I am having no problems with the Jim Carrey version - however, the animated version is another story. I can't seem to get just the movie. I'm always getting the commentary over the movie.
I've tried just importing the fully ripped movie into TMPEnc DVD Author. It gives me 4 different audio tracks to choose from. All of them have the commentary.
I've tried Re-Authoring in DVDShrink, leaving all English languages in - still get commentary. I've tried with each English audio track individually - commentary on both.
I've tried re-ripping the disc having DVDDecryptor only rip the main movie files - but, as I'm sure you've guessed - commentary. And to make matters worse, TMPEnc won't even import that with out the .IFO file.
When I play the original DVD, I can watch the entire movie without any interruptions from the people who did the voices. I can also use the menu to select commentary if I want.
I just want to be able to put the animated movie of the Grinch alongside the Jim Carrey version. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
