  1. I want to get a DVD writer or recorder or duplicator...something !!
I was wonder what the PC requirements (ram, processor, etc) are for an external DVD writer? My computer is almost 4 years old !!

If it wont handle an external, then I might look at one of those 1to1 DVD duplicators.

All I want to do is copy my buddies movies for myself. He has alot of movies that he had burned to DVD and I'm going to copy his copies.

    Anyone have/use a duplicator?

Copy your "buddies" movies for yourself is not kosher.... If he owns them HE can copy them as a backup for HIMSELF.....
I beleive in order to make a copy of a "movie" you must also own it...
    Just my $0.02
I'll stand corrected if I am wrong....

  3. thanks for your concern, but I could care less about the legalities !!

I'm just wondering about the PC requirements.
...and if anyone here has used/owned a duplicator.

If you copy a movie that you don't own it's illegal and we do not support it with this website.

Further, I suggest you read our rules for posting before you post again.
