Let me preface this by saying that I absolutely must use DVD Maestro for the final creation of my DVDs, specifically because it supports subtitles but also in no small part because of the flexibility it affords. What DVD Maestro doesn't have is a nice menu creation system.

I've played around with Ulead MovieFactory's menu creation system. It is precisely what I need. Simple but effective, and far from the totally barebones system other apps provide. And of course it's head and shoulders above DVD Maestro since all Maestro provides is the ability to import menu graphics you got from somewhere else.

That's all I need, really. An app that works like Ulead to offer a wide selection of menu graphics layers, with the ability to customize button graphics and menu title / selection lettering. Said app only needs to be able to save the results as PSD or JPG (or whatever else Maestro can import). Ulead doesn't have this ability, which I shouldn't be surprised about. I should mention in advance that I am not "looking for" Photoshop. Yes, it can do what I'm after, but only with considerably more time, effort and knowhow than a basic DVD menu really needs. I am positive there are apps out there that do what I want. I just don't know what they're called.

    Thanks in advance!
