I have a lot of series I want to put on a DVD. Some are Widescreen and some not. So the size does differ each time. How do I know how many files I can put on the dvd.

    Regards,

A DVD takes 4483 Mb. First, it helps if you put Explorer on Details View. You make a folder and put in, say, 2 of these MPGs. Then you read on the Status Line, at the bottom of the window, how many Gb this is together. If it looks as if there is room for a third, the length of which you can also find out on the Status Line if you first select it, you add that one.

Be careful, though. SVCD2DVD adds some extra to each file, ca 100 Mb I would say, but it may be less. So as long as the Status Line does not indicate too much beyond 4 Gb, you are okay.

    Hope tyhis helps..

  3. VCD:
If you got a serie of 22-25 minutes eps you can put a whole serie on 2 dvds 14 eps on each.

If you got a serie of 43-45 minutes eps you can put a whole serie on 3 dvds 7 or 8 eps on each depending on the number of eps in a season:
    22: 8,7,7 or 24: 8,8,8

    SVCD:
If you got a serie of 43-45 minutes eps you can put a whole serie on 5 dvds 4 or 5 eps on each. depending on the number of eps in a season:
    22: 5,5,4,4,4 or 24: 5,5,5,5,4
    Greatings,
