Samsung C621

I just had a DVD writer and made some backup DVD's when using Pioneer it worked fine but when I use Samsung C621 5 disk it does not work at all.

Do you have any experience like? Please advice.

You didn't say what format DVD burner you use. Is it a +R or -R?

I have a Samsung C631P 5 disk player, which is very similar to yours.

I burn using an Aopen DRW4410 +RW burner. ALL the disks I make work perfect on my Samsung (+R, +RW).

However, this was not always the case. This is because initially I used NERO 6 to burn my DVD's. BIG mistake.

After getting some help here, I decided to try Stomp's RecordNow MAX.
That fixed EVERYTHING.

Also, I use DVDINFO PRO to change my booktype settings to DVD-ROM.
However, my discs play even when burned as DVD+R(W)

So, perhaps your problem lies with the software you use.
Don't give up, you will eventually find the answer.
