Besides the 5.1 audio most DVDs contain a 2.0 sound channel or PCM sound. Since my video project is too large I can only include a single 5.1 channel audio on my DVD.
Can it cause any problems when played back on standard stereo DVD system? Any info would be appericiated.

the 5.1 will play fine on your 2-channel stereo. the sound will be more "open"...spatial enhancement if you will.
