  1. Has this happened to anyone else? I have used Pinnacle instant copy for about 4 months. Everything was working fine. Then one day i get a message saying Pinnacle drivers set incorrectly click yes to fix? I click yes and bang I can't burn DVDs anymore. Uninstall it, and everything can't use DVD to burn now.

I figure it was a glich so I format my computer reinstall everything. Things are looking great. I install Pinnacle Instant Copy again and Bang!! Get same error message about drivers. This time i click no. And then I get a frozen screen. I reboot can't get XP to come up. Go to safe mode won't boot. Put in XP CD to do a restore won't work. Try to format drive. Fails. Had to take it to a friends house and hook it up as a slave drive to format it.

    OMG what the hell.

Just thought I would warn people cause this could happen to you

I don't have a reason for the error...but....instead of going through all of that...if it happens again try a system rollback...its a feature of windows xp to reload all the settings of xp from a previous day..and you pick which day.

    Where is that on XP?
I'm an avid 98 user stuck here on my girlfriend's XP Pro computer....and it's also in GERMAN so please be a little specific if you can. Translating "on the fly" is a bit rough...

Thanks if you can shed some light.

If you click on help a window will open up with multiple options. I'm not in front of my xp pc now (I'm at work) but I believe it is the third or 4th option down on the left.

It states perform a rollback or something to that affect.

Just as a warning, any other software installed after the date you are rolling back to will have to be reinstalled.
