I've made a DV capture with Windows movie maker, Quality DV (25mb/s). the problem is when i tryed to compress it with Virtual dub but it doesn't open. This is the error message: "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd'(unknown) Virtual Dub requires a Video for Windows(VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow Codecs, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable."
Can any one help, is there another way to compress it with xvid or divx!?
Thanks

You may want to try Virtual Dub mod. Also, make sure you have a DV codec installed on your system. Both are available in the Tools section at left.
