I got my old Super 8mm Reel films transfered to DV. I played them on my camera and for some reason, they transfered too fast (My Great Grandma has not moved that fast since the '40's). I was wondering if there was a way to slow them down when I transfer them from DV to AVI or from AVI to MPG? I'd say they are about 10% fast. I use DVIO v1.32 to capture from DV, TMPGEnc Plus v2.512.52.161 to transfer from AVI to MPG and VCDEasy V1.1.5.2 to burn the SVCDs. I have notified the company that transfered the Super 8mm films, but have yet to get a response. I was hoping there was a setting in the software programs I was overlooking or not understand or maybe there was some freeware out there that can slow down video to varying degrees. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Any decent AVI editing program will allow you to change the playback speed. If all that is needed is to change the frame rate, AviFrate or virtualdub are what you want.
