  2. Well if you have the Pioneer DVD burner, you should be able to do it.

You have to re-encode the mpeg to be DVD compliant, Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.5 has an option for converting and it does it well. Considering it is a really new ad expensive software I will take for granted you don't have it. Then what you need to do is convert thhose mpeg files to AVI and then re-encode to mpeg DVD compliant files.

I also think TMPGenc can help you with this, but I'm not familiar with TMPGenc, may be someone else can take it from here.

  3. TMPGenc, CCE, Ulead, etc. can make DVD MPEG2 files. The real question is do you have a DVD burner? If so you'll need to get the MPEGs from the x(S)VCD on your HD (for VCD use VCDGear or SVCD just copy MPEGS).

Now you have two choices, either burn them on a DVDR disc, or re-encode to DVD MPEG2 and burn them. If you want them to work on your PSX2, you'll have to re-encode.

TMPGenc, CCE, Ulead, etc can do this. TMPGenc is 100% free but kind of slow. Look at the link to the left under "Author" for more info.
