I make original videos into DVD's. Highlight films, weddings, graduations, etc. For Highlight films particularly I am trying to accomplish multiple audio tracks. Some people like Rock music, some rap, etc.

So what I want to do is make 2-3 different sound tracks (all music) for the same video like normal DVD's have for different languages. The menu's and DVD navigation are not a problem, it is getting the different tracks to stay seperate and then also selectable.

I have and am very familiar with a wide variety of programs for video editing and dvd ripping, encoding, burning and authoring. So I am not exactly starting at square one. I am thinking that I could do this in TMPEGenc but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

I have just started messing with this and I'm sure I can figure it out when I get time or when I need to do it, I was just hoping that someone else has done this and can just say "ok, it's easy, all you need to do is....."

just a note on your "adding music to wedding video's and such"

video professionals are getting sued left and right for putting music on dvd's or tapes for weddings - as this is illeagal without clearance ..

there has been a lot of info on this n the last year or so as people now opt more for a dvd of thier weddding instead of tape ..

Thanks for the warning, I'll keep that in mind. Typically the music on the wedding videos (other than the wedding march) is music by the band or musician that plays the reception. BUT...not always.

and if the weding band is playing a cover song ? believe me , they have got really freaky over this issue.

oh and an answer - just use a dvd authoring program that supports multiple audio tracks ..

to northcat_8: What u need is a dvd-authoring program that offers the full DVD spec of 8 audio tracks. Most entry-level DVD authoring programs out there only allow a single track, like DVD-lab, Sonic MyDVD, etc. On the other hand, Adobe Encore, Sonic ReelDVD, & the new Ulead DVD Workshop 2 offer this full spec. Just as u have seen, multiple music tracks are one other reason (aside from multiple languages) for having 8 audio tracks at one's disposal, and in this regard, entry-level dvd-authoring programs just don't cut it. But it costs $$$. One good deal I see is ADSTech Pyro Platinum, where Premiere and Encore is bundled with their FireWire card and the bunch is $500. If u don't mind no menus (and it's free at that), you can assemble your different audio tracks in IFOedit>author a new DVD, and so there.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".

Tone Loc "Do The Wild Thing" is great wedding music :

Workin' all week 9 to 5 for my money
So when the weekend comes I go get live with the honey
Rollin' down the street I saw this girl and she was pumpin'
I winked my eye she got into the ride went to a club was jumpin'
Introduce myself as Loc she said "You're a liar"
I said "I got it goin' on baby doll and I'm on fire"
Took her to the hotel she said "You're the king"
I said "Be my queen if you know what I mean and let us do the wild thing

    Wild thing (x2)

Shoppin' at the mall looking for some gear to buy
I saw this girl she cool rocked my world and I had to adjust my fly
She looked at me and smiled and said "You have plans for the night"
I said "Hopefully if things go well I'll be with you tonight"
So we journeyed to her house one thing led to an other
I keyed the door we cold hit the floor looked up and it was her mother
I didn't know what to say I was hanging by a string
She said "Hey you two I was once like you and I liked to do the wild thing"

    Wild thing
She loved to do the wild thing
    Wild thing
    Please baby baby please

Posse in effect hangin' out is always hype
And when me and the crew leave the shindig I want a girl who's just my type
Saw this luscious little frame I ain't lyin' fellas she was fine
The sweet young miss go gave me a kiss and I knew that she was mine
Took her to the limousine still parked outside
I tipped the chauffeur when it was over and I gave her my own ride
Couldn't get her off my jack she was like static cling
But that's what happens when body start slappin' from doin' the wild thing

    Wild thing
She wanna do the wild thing
    Please baby baby please

    Wild thing

Doin' a little show at the local discotheque
This fine youg chick was on my jack so I say what the heck
She want to come on stage and do her little dance
So I said chill for now but maybe later you'll get your chance
So when the show was finished I took her around the way
And what do you know she was good to go without a word to say
We was all alone and she said "Tone let me tell you one thing
I need $50 to make you holler I get paid to do the wild thing"

    Say what
Yo love you must be kidding
    You're walkin' babe
    Just break out of here
    Hasta la vista baby

    Wild thing
