I bought a new HP dvd writer 300n and I backed-up a few dvd's to dvd+rw, and now that I think I have the meathod down with DVD X COPY, I want to copy the dvd+rw's to dvd+r's. I have tried and I keep getting an error and I have used Nero 6 and Recordnow max. I am hoping that there is a prog out there to make my life a lil easier.

    HP Pavilion
    Celeron 2.0ghz
    256 ram
    60 gig HD
    1 dvd reader/cd burner
    1 HP dvd writer

    THAN YOU IN ADVANCE!

First of all if your source disc is a dvdrw them most likely it isnt encypted so why use xcopy? Anyway, if your sure the dvdrw is completely working then just rip it to your hard drive and then burn it with any burning program. nero should work fine. If you can be more specific on what error you are getting and when you are getting it then you may get more responses. we dont know if you are ripping it the right way or if you are using nero correctly.. Like maybe you have nero set on cd and not dvd, or whatever other possibility there is.

TY for the response..I will be more specific. I took dvd x copy and burned my dvd+rw's....that went fine. When I try to copy them I get an error although I cant remember what it is...I can try to copy dvd+rw to dvd+r with nero 6 using the dvd copy feature with failure. I have tried to rip the disk just by making a new folder on my desktop and inserting the disk and copy and pasting the files to that folder (from the dvd+rw to the HD) and then burn from that folder to the dvd+r. I will try it again and write down the error I was getting. But I know it will write to the dvd+r's to like 98% then I get the error. TY for the help
