I posted previously about 'only FF x2 works' on some standalones I now have additional information which means I'm probably posting the the wrong group - but I don't know which is the right group.
In addition to the above problem which effects one standalone and PowerDVD-XP I've noticed that if I reboot and use BSPlayer immediately avis play fine - if I then use mplayer or PowerDVD-XP and later use BSPlayer again video is slightly jerky in BSplayer playing the same avi as before. How this relates to TMPGenc & SVCD2DVD I'm unsure.
Thinking back to before I had the FFx2 & chapter problems on standalone & PowerDVD I read a post about improving performance within TMPGenc by upping the priority of DirectShow Multimedia File Reader which lead me to change settings in TMPGenc which of course I use to get from VOB>MPG. I've since reverted to default settings.
Aside from that I'm lost as to what to do next or even how to ask the appropriate question.
Pointers appricated.
