  1. I recently burned a video I downloaded and the quality was fine and everything when I played it on the computer. Now when I burned it to VCD and played on my DVD player once every like 10 seconds it will skip for 1-5 seconds and there will also be little boxes over the screen, of images that are supposed ot be there but they are kina boxed, hard to explain. Can anyone help me out with this? will burning with better quality help out my problem?

Could be your player. Have you checked whether it's compatible with CD-R/RW?

If you've done what Braindrain suggested and it still happens, try buring at a lower speed. It has been mentioned that it helps.

It seems that it is the media problem. Try to burn with other brand. CD-RW is better than CD-R. I found that Mr. Write 4X CD-RW works on most DVD player.

  5. I ran it a second time and it didn't hardly chop at all, maybe the disk was dirty or it just started reading it hard from the beginning, thanx for all your replies, I will look into that program and I will try next time at a lower speed, thank you much.
