My TV Capture card came with Leadtek's WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe. It's a great PVR except for one minor problem... the TV recording schedule is unreliable. Sometimes it records as scheduled, sometimes not.
I've downloaded and tried just about every PVR demo I can find. Some have very limited customization settings for capturing, some don't even recognize an incoming S-Video signal. I just installed the demo for PowerVCR II and it won't even launch without crapping out. I was using WinDVR3 and was very happy with it except it keeps locking up. After which, the only way to recover is to unplug the PC (you can't reboot or even power it off).
Can anyone recommend an application that is both reliable and makes good quality scheduled recordings? I know lots of video editing applications that are great for manual capturing but most cannot schedule recordings.
I really like both the TV2000 and the WinDVR3 but an unreliable scheduler makes one useless and the locking-up of the other is getting to be a pain. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use Compro's Videomate Cinema. I think I must be the only person in the world who owns one. Never seen one mentioned on any forums.

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I was hoping to find a PVR application without having to buy a new capture card, since the one I have works fine. Any other suggestions? Anybody?
