    i have tried to convert a Xvid to a mpeg so i can make a VCD. the problem that i have is that TMPGENce has errors when i try to open the file and it freezes when i try to convert it. I have the Xvid codec and ive tried VDub and it didnt work. Can Someone Help Me?

    How so? Could you be a little more specific? Did you scan for bad frames?

    Scan for bad frames and try changing the directshow priorities, first link and second link below.
