I captured some video w/ iuVCR and the picvideo mjpeg codec - did this w/o pegging my CPU & it seems to have gone well (7200 rpm HD w/ 8M buffer)....I tried to encode this capture file but my encoder complained about the format.
I had seen a post that said that the frame rate wasn't and couldn't be exactly 29.997 fps and that causes problems. I pulled the capure into Vegas & resaved it, then encoded no problem & attributed this to the frame rate.
Does a frame rate problem like that sound plausible? I got by the problem but thought I'd try to resolve it before next time - doing the extra load & save is a bit time cosuming & seems like an extra step (or two).
TIA.
