I just recently learned about the world of PC video stuff and while searching for some answers, I found this place. But I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, so I apologize if it's inappropriate.
All I want to do is to hook up my VCR to my PC and watch VHS movies. I bought the Dazzle DVC 80 and had no problems hooking it up. But it appears that everything I have seen (in websites, store shelves, etc.) are all geared toward video capture. I don't want to do that, all I want to do is watch. The software that came with that (as well as many others on the market) gives you a nice editing UI with a tiny view/play window. Is there a product that I can download (preferably) that I can use to view the VHS movie in a bigger window without all of the capture/editing stuff? I don't want to capture and convert, I just want to hit play and watch a movie (like I do with my CD-DVD). Thank you.

I'm not sure, but I think that PowerVCR II by Cyberlink that can work for you. You can download a 30-day trial free version in:

Good luck!

Thank you so much MPereira. I finally got around to installing PowerVCR last night (after upgrading a few drivers) and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. The default window appears to be about 640x480, filling up a good middle portion of my 1072x768 display. And plus, it has a maximize button that can fill up the whole screen! Thanks again for the recommendation.
