I am glad that I have some faith in Divxlabs.

A new version of Dr. Divx hias just came out which incorporates the newest version of Divx Pro 5.1.1. There are some fixes in addition to this.

For my system, it has made my Divx encodes go at least twice as fast more with some files, especially is there were in MPEG format before encoding.

Free upgrade for all Dr Divx users and if Dr. Divx was examined before in a demo and your time was expired after 15 days, you can re-download this version and get a fresh 15 days to demo the product.

I am NOW every happy with the product whcih first worked to remove bugs and get stability, then switched to performance issues. Since I purchased a Liteon LVD 2001, I have been in the process of moving EVERYTHING I own, from family movies on VHS tape to digital backups to Divx. It saves me a ton of money on media, and I use a data backup to DVDs of Divx files and 5GB of Divx can store a whole lot of video.
