    Greetings,

    I am using DVD Decrypter 3.1.7.0 and my burner is a NEC 1100A.

    I select 1X as writing speed and DVD Decrypter still burn at the maximum speed.

    Am I doing something wrong?
    Is it my computer hardware/software settings?
    Anyone else was able to burn 1X with the same dvd burner or had problems with other burner brands?

    You cant burn DVD+RW/R at 1x on a PC writer

    2.4x is the standard

    The only coasters I've made are with DVDDecryptor. It just doesn't like anything, and I mean maximizing another window anything, going on when it's writing. Nero, on the other hand, can burn an ISO image at 4x and not miss a beat when I'm getting mail and surfing.

    I was able to burn -R's at 4x, 2x. +R's at 2.4x and 4x (had some assorted media laying around) with an NEC 1300a.
