I need some help on this i just buy i new comptuerd .
1)ATI ALL IN WWONDER REDEON 9000 pro (MMC 8.1)

    2)SOUND BLASTER AUDIGY 2 .

When I try to captured (avi or vcd;dvd)the sound is chopy ? or dysynchronize. WITH ATI CAPTURED.

The same things when I am working with DV format?

THE PROBLEME IS THE CLOCK STABILITY ?????

    Error(s):
    Audio Clock Inaccuracy > (+ or -) 0.2%

    Explanation:
The clock on the audio card is used to synchronize audio with video during DVD playback and also during Video Capture. If the sound card's clock is unstable then you may experience degraded DVD playback or problems with captured video clips.

    Suggestions:
If you are receiving this message and you are using a sound card with poor Clock Stability, you may experience audio/video synchronization problems while viewing video or in captured video files.

If you are using a sound card with good Clock Stability, contact the manufacturer for updated sound drivers or try installing a different sound card to determine whether there is any change.

    IS WHAT THEY SAYS ??

BUT I HAVE PUT THE NEW DRIVER (UPDATE) END THE SAME PROBLEME ???

I HAVE SENT E-MAILS BOTH OF THEM WITH NO REPLY ????????

IS THE ARE THE ATI OR AUDIGY 2 end the store do not wont exchange the sound cards after 30 days ?

Some one can help on this ?????????

  2. Tried putting the Audigy in a different PCI slot? (not the bottom or top but in the middle if possible)
Some resources may be shared. Your AGP and/or PCI slots could be sharing resources in you setup and could cause poor performance.

    I WILL TRY TODAY .

ANOTHER QUESTIONS REGARDING :Some resources may be shared. Your AGP and/or PCI slots could be sharing resources in you setup and could cause poor performance.

YOU MEEN THE IRQ ON THE BIOS SETUP ?

  4. Yeah IRQ.
Usually in the manual they have a chart that lists the possible shared devices and then they put "shared" for shared resources. They usually list 5 or so configurations.
e.g. If you use AGP, 1st PCI, 2nd PCI, 5th PCI. It could say PCI 1 and PCI 5 share.
If you use AGP, 1st PCI, 3rd PCI, USB 2.0. PCI 1 and USB could share...
Just in a chart rather than words.

Is this machine A Dell Dimension 8300?

If you do have a Dell 8300 try the following steps.

First un-install ATI and Creative drivers.

Then install latest intel chipset drivers (For Dimension 8300, Dell uses 875P chipset): http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=N&ProductID=1...3&DwnldID=6536

Continue installing latest Audigy 2 drivers http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/

    Now update Video drivers. http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/radeonwdm-xp.html?type=xp&prodType=graphic&pr...6&submit=GO%21

    Update MMC. http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/winxp/radeonopt-xp.html?type=xp&prodType=mm&prod=ai...6&submit=GO%21

Note: Dell does not recoment using latest ATI MMC version, but it works just fine.

Finally upgrade DX to version 9.0b http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=141D5F9E-07C1-462A-BAEF-5EAB5...displaylang=en
