I use Premiere 6.0 to edit movies, and I have just bought a DVD recorder, but I find no easy way to export my movie to DVD
I wondered if there is som way to export directly to mpeg. Like there is in Premiere 6.5 with some kind of not expensive plug-in.

premiere 6 comes with the LSX mpeg2 encoder ... look on your installation cd ....
though you would be better off to upgrade to 6.5 or pro"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
I can't find it on the installation CD. I searched with google and found at ligos.com:
LSX-MPEG 2.01 for Adobe Premiere $129.95
but thats almost as expensive as upgrading... -
i thought it was included -- maybe not , i know i was export mpeg2 but dont remember using a plug in ... but i dropped using premiere when i dumped my REELTIME NITRO system (maybe it came with it) ..
well -- do the upgrade to pro or if you can find it -- get an upgrade to 6.5 (which includes the main concept encoder)"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650)
